Vila C represents a new way of living between outside and inside. This house is designed for a family with two daughters who love spending their time in the garden. The main idea is a diffusion between exterior and interior and deleting its exact boundaries.

First we have created a simple T-shaped volume with an ideal functional layout matching the rhythm of the family life, the movement of the sun, the view…Than we have started to remove volumes and to create the patios. In this sense, a threedimensional work with the inner space of the house was very important – patios provide interesting vistas, allow the sun and the daylight to enter the spaces in a spectacular way and offer surprising moments when moving through the house. The courtyards as well offer different ways of spending time in the exterior – summer kitchen, dining area under the tree, kitchen patio, lounge area around the fire-place…

The choice of materials and a consistent detail planning support this strong conceptual idea.
