The conceptual idea is to create a new town centre that rises like an extension of the existing main square of the town – St. Ignac Square. In this way, a new connection between two parts of the town is created. Urban structure of the new block follows the street line of the square as well as the traditional winged form of building that is typical for Leopoldov.

Architecture of the new complex interprets the traditional hipped roof in a new way and creates so a very specific space atmosphere.

We use jamb brick on the facades as we believe that this material adds an urban character to the new complex and represents well its function – the town hall. The brick is also very familiar in the sourrounding of Leopoldov (the old bridge, the building of the train station).
