The spatial flatland lies in a new residential area Záhorské Sady, close to the Carpathians. We design a home for a family of four, which will maybe once be a home for two generations.

The volume of this house is divided into several blocks – this is the way how our proposal takes over the scale of its surroundings. Our aim is to create a friendly „face“ of the villa towards the street. Two wings of the house create a small courtyard with a tree in front of the entrance. The courtyard is surrounded by the wellness zone with a guest apartment on one side and the garage with services on the other side.       The living zone of the villa is situated in the main wing, oriented to the silent garden. This open space will become the core of the family life. A spatial loggia on the western side, the winter garden on the eastern side as well as the open space above the dining area make this space a special place. The upper floor is designed as the children´s zone – one day there can be an independent flat with the roof terrace and nice view to the surroundings.

We have chosen traditional and long lasting building materials, considering the character of this villa and of the houses in the neighbourhood. The villa is built of brick, with a plaster facade. The  concrete facade elements overtake the function of shade. Inside, we have chosen terazzo and solid oak floors and furniture. Natural oak wood brings this home a cosy atmosphere and a touch of luxury.
